We’re Here: UNTABLE Begins in Vancouver

We’re excited to start right here in Vancouver, Canada. Beginning a new journey always feels special. For us, it means finally sharing what we've loved for years.

Ten years ago, we moved here from China as international students. We studied art, crafts, and literature. Creativity became more than just something we learned in class. It shaped the way we experienced life, especially in small, everyday moments.

Have you noticed how drinks taste better from a beautiful cup? Pour some coke into a glass, add a slice of lemon, and watch the bubbles fizz. Suddenly, drinking soda becomes a little luxury. The same goes for food. Even ordinary takeout tastes amazing served on special plates.

Little details like these fascinated us. We started paying more attention to tableware and the joy it brought to our daily routine.

We spent a lot of time browsing local homeware stores and online shops. But soon enough, mainstream designs started feeling too familiar. We began to search elsewhere and quickly discovered the growing popularity of artistic tableware in China. The combination of traditional Chinese elements with modern aesthetics felt fresh and inspiring.

At the same time, we noticed the rise of fusion dining here in Canada, where Asian flavours meet Western cuisine. It made us think about how tastes and aesthetics were becoming more diverse. We imagined bringing this multicultural approach into everyday homeware.

That's exactly why we created UNTABLE. We carefully curate unique ceramics and handmade homeware here in Vancouver. Our goal is simple: to offer beautiful, meaningful items that reflect creativity, diversity, and inspiration.
